Diablo 4 Red Circles on the Minimap
In Diablo 4, the red circles that show up on the minimap are events that you can find in various locations around the world. When you enter the red circle, known as the event area, the event begins, and you receive the task on the right side of the screen.
Other players may also join in the event as it isn’t specific to your character. It’s important to note that each event has a specific time limit, so you must complete the task within that time frame. The tasks can include defeating an enemy group or protecting NPCs from enemy waves.
If you succeed in the event within the allotted time, you’ll be rewarded with a chest full of loot, including gear. Completing an event also grants you XP and gold.
