The Legend of Zelda: How to Clear Courage Island in Tears of the Kingdom
Courage Island is a fun and challenging side activity that can be found in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Although this activity doesn’t contribute directly to your main quest, it grants you access to helpful resources to aid you in your journey. Here is a guide explaining how to find and clear Courage Island in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
The Location of Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower
You can find the Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower west of Hyrule Castle, along the north side of Hyrule Ridge. From this tower, you have access to a number of different destinations, including Courage Island.
How to Find and Clear Courage Island
To reach Courage Island, launch from the Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower, and paraglide southwest. The island looks like a series of broken stone donuts in a column.
It is important to land near the highest platform of the island, and then walk directly ahead to the pedestal and activate it. This will reveal a green ring at the end of a platform. Pass through the green ring and start diving toward the stone rings below you. More green rings will appear, slightly left or right or ahead of you. Pass through each of these green rings on the way down, and finally land in the pond at the bottom.
If you didn’t miss any rings, Taunhiy Shrine will appear, and you can use it to fast travel to the island in the future. Courage Island has some nice resources, including three fairies that appear around the edges of the water and a device dispenser. When you’re done exploring these attractions, talk to the construct.
Accept the construct’s offer to start the dive ceremony. After paying one Zonai Charge, you will appear back near the top of the island, ahead of where you last jumped. Your goal is to reach the pool at the base of Courage Island within 35 seconds. You’ll start falling without your paraglider open, and you should spend most of the time between the green rings in a dive. Just don’t descend so quickly that you miss one. If you reach the bottom of Courage Island within the allotted time, you receive the glide shirt as a prize.
If you didn’t manage to reach the bottom in time, or if you missed a ring, you’ll have to pay another Zonai Charge when you’re ready to try again. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is now available for Nintendo Switch.
