Bandai Namco to Hold Closed Network Test for Tekken 8

It’s time for some exciting news for all the Tekken fans out there as Bandai Namco Entertainment will be conducting a closed network test for Tekken 8 later in the summer. The company has invited select fans to be a part of the test that is scheduled to begin at 9 PM BST on July 21st, 2022 and will conclude at midnight on July 22nd, 2022.

The test is for people who play on PlayStation 5, Steam, and Xbox Series X/S. The lucky testers will get access to 16 playable characters, one additional character compared to the current official roster of fighters, along with five stages to choose from.

The primary goal of holding the test is to assess the network’s quality and offer players a premium gameplay experience with new features such as the latest battle systems, aerial combo techniques, new-gen graphics, and destructible and interactive stages. Once the test is over, an online survey will be emailed to all participants so that Bandai Namco can gather feedback and work to further enhance their upcoming title.

The publisher has stated that selection for the network test will follow the “first-arrived, first-served” rule. If you want to participate in the closed beta test of Tekken 8, you can fill out a registration form on the Bandai Namco website.
