Kameo Fighters

Mortal Kombat 1 introduces Kameo Fighters to the series, a new level of player expression and unique roster of partner characters meant to assist your main roster fighter during matches. All Kameos will provide an advantage in every fight, with access to additional special moves, throwing opponents, and providing fatal blows.

Kameo Fighters feature unique strengths and will enhance the strengths of your favorite roster characters. For example, if your character is stronger on offense and weaker on defense, you can use the skills of Kameo Kano to enhance your defense. Or, if you enjoy flashy kombos, you’ll love Kameo Sonya Blade’s ground and air kombos. Finally, if you enjoy traps and mind games, you can use Jax’s ground pound to force your opponent to act, then air grab them during jump-in attempts.

Mortal Kombat 1 Fighting System

Mortal Kombat 1 brings back air kombos to the Mortal Kombat Universe. You can start a high-damaging kombo on the ground and continue it in the sky, slamming your opponent back down to earth, continuing your kombo from there if you like. Fights can take place anywhere in Mortal Kombat 1, on the ground or in the air.
