Capcom has released a free demo of Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective’s remaster ahead of its arrival on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and Steam on June 30th. If you are unfamiliar with Ghost Trick, the paranormal puzzle adventure game comes from Ace Attorney designer Shu Takumi. The game follows the journey of Sissel, a sharp-dressing amnesiac. Sissel quickly learns his spirit form gives him the ability to possess inanimate objects so he can influence events and progress through the game.
The original game’s high-resolution graphics, increased frame rates, optimized user interface, and more will be expanded upon in the remaster. Players will have the option to choose from newly arranged or original soundtrack compositions and challenge themselves in the game’s new sliding-block-style challenge mode that unlocks new artwork.
Capcom wants players to have the opportunity to test the remaster’s early stages and its various improvements before its official release. The demo is available on Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam, and players can transfer their save data if they wish to purchase Ghost Trick’s full game upon its release on June 30th.
