Guide: The Blue Stone Side Quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

If you think The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is only about stopping evil in its tracks, you’re in for a pleasant surprise – you also have to make the kingdom more livable by helping the residents. One task you’ll come across is The Blue Stone quest. Here’s how to complete it.

Completing The Blue Stone side quest in Tears of the Kingdom

First, you have to finish the Sidon of the Zora main quest that requires you to clear out the Water Temple. Once you do this, you’ll notice that the kingdom’s inhabitants have new requests that they need help with. Meet with Ledo, who is atop the dam of East Reservoir Lake to the east of Zora’s Domain. He needs some blue stones to help fix Mipha’s Court, but these are challenging to find. Here’s what you need to do to complete The Blue Stone side quest.

  1. Check the water near the place where you meet with Ledo.
  2. Locate two boards that are settled against a mostly submerged platform.
  3. Use the Ultrahand ability to bring the two boards to the dock and attach them to make a raft.
  4. Grab the two Fan pieces and the Steering Wheel piece and attach them to the raft as well.

  1. Set out from the dock with your assembled raft, steering to the left of the waterfall.
  2. Continue towards the back rocky area to find the entrance to the nearby cave.
  3. Steer your raft through the opening to enter Reservoir Lakefront Cavern and proceed along the channel.
  4. Search the shore near the back side for several blue stones.
  5. Attach a blue stone to your raft using the Ultrahand ability.

  1. Using the Ultrahand ability, turn your raft around so it faces the long tunnel.
  2. Proceed along the tunnel, past the waterfall, and head towards the dock where Ledo awaits.
  3. Once you’re on the dock, use the Ultrahand ability again to grab the blue stone and set it down near Ledo.

Ledo will be impressed with your efforts in retrieving the blue stone for him. As a reward, he will give you the Zora Fabric which you can use to decorate your paraglider. The quest will also be marked as complete.
