The latest update for Vampire Survivors, patch 1.5 (The Overwhelming One), has added an exciting new feature to the game. In addition to the new Astral Stair challenge stage and the random events system (unlocked by the Trisection Relic), players can now access the Gold Finger pickup. As with any new addition to the game, players are wondering how to obtain the Gold Finger in Vampire Survivors and what can be done with it. How to Get the Gold Finger Pickup in Vampire Survivors

The Gold Finger pickup can be found in patch 1.5’s new challenge stage Astral Stair. To unlock the stage, follow the instructions provided in our guide (linked above). Once you are inside the stage, use the in-game map to locate the five Gold Fingers spread across the smaller sections of the stage.

In order to access the Gold Fingers, players must make use of the teleport doors located around the stage. Once acquired, players become invincible and receive increased Charm stats (more enemies spawn) and reduced Cooldown stats for a short time. A combo system is activated during which rewards are given based on the number of enemies defeated during the Gold Finger’s use. The rewards offered and the required number of enemy kills are summarized in the table below:

The Gold Finger’s rewards are substantial, particularly at higher tiers, making it well worth seeking out in Astral Stair. It’s best to obtain the Gold Fingers in the later stages of your run, allowing you to defeat more enemies within the time limit, ensuring a high-level reward.

Even though the Gold Finger is listed among the other pickups on the Collection screen, it has only a slim chance to appear in most stages once you claim the Trisection Relic. So far, players have been unable to find it outside of Astral Stair, even after limiting light source drops using the Seal powerup and spawning more in using Greatest Jubilee. There may be an unrevealed trick to making it spawn elsewhere or it may just be incredibly rare, but whatever the case, do not expect to obtain the Gold Finger reliably in your runs right now. You should consider your position very carefully before picking one up, if you see one in the wild, to get the most out of it. Nonetheless, now that you know how to find the Gold Finger in Astral Stair in Vampire Survivors, you can make a challenging stage much more manageable.
