Dead Island 2 DLC Expansions Announced by Deep Silver

Deep Silver recently shared exciting news for fans of Dead Island 2 – the game will be receiving DLC expansions in the coming years.

The Dead Island 2 roadmap reveals that players can expect two story expansions that will be released over the next few years. The first expansion, called Haus, is scheduled to arrive in late 2023. Following that, the second expansion titled ‘OLA Festival‘ will launch in mid-2024.

Deep Silver has provided detailed information about both expansions. In Haus, players will encounter a billionaire’s unconventional response to the zompocalypse by incorporating a techno-death cult, along with debauchery and plenty of gore. On the other hand, OLA Festival takes players to a scene where LA’s revelers celebrate greenwashing and unite to “save the planet, one rave at a time.”

In addition to the story expansions, Deep Silver has also unveiled a range of cosmetics and skins. The Premium Character Packs and ‘Til Dawn’ Collection are both available for download now. The character packs include unique skins, weapons, and the Hell-A Catwalk Collection, and can be purchased from digital storefronts. On the other hand, the ‘Til Dawn’ Collection is a free update that provides players with a set of skins and unlocks when they reach the Cosplay Unlock Point in the game.

Furthermore, the ‘From Dusk Collection’ will be available “throughout 2023,” exclusively to Amazon Prime members who can link their Prime Gaming account to their PROS account to claim these rewards. Deep Silver has provided complete instructions on their website for this process.
