Uncovering Misko’s Treasure of Awakening 1 in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom offers an abundance of side content, ensuring that players will have a plethora of activities to engage in during their playthrough. From embarking on side quests for non-playable characters to discovering new armor sets and mastering the art of cooking, there’s a multitude of adventures waiting to be explored in the vast open-world of Hyrule.

One such adventure involves searching for Misko’s Treasures. These elusive treasures are hidden throughout Hyrule, each offering unique rewards to dedicated treasure hunters. Among these is the Treasure of Awakening, which tasks players with collecting various components of an outfit from a previous Zelda game, Link’s Awakening. By completing this quest, players can even acquire the iconic hat worn by Link in the Switch remake of the game. This guide will walk you through the steps to accomplish Misko’s Treasure of Awakening 1 in Tears of the Kingdom.

Locating Misko’s Treasure of Awakening 1

In order to commence the quest pertaining to Misko’s Treasure of Awakening, you must first determine the whereabouts of the initial piece, which is the Tunic of Awakening. This particular item is located on the west side of the map, in the southern region of the Tabantha Frontier, and just north of the Gerudo Highlands. To pinpoint its exact location, refer to the comprehensive map provided below. A handful of shrines can be found in this vicinity, allowing for swift navigation to your intended destination. For my own journey, I opted to use the fast travel feature to teleport to the shrine near the Tabantha Bridge Stable and proceed from there.

Once you arrive at the designated location, make your way towards the circled pillar as depicted in the image above. Resting atop this pillar is a button that, when activated by standing on it, will open the door leading to a cave housing Misko’s Treasure of Awakening.

Descend into the cave as soon as you’ve unlocked its entrance. Once inside, you will immediately spot the first part of Misko’s Treasure of Awakening right in front of you. Additionally, to the left of it, there is a hole that leads to a Bubbul Gem, should you desire an extra one to accompany your Treasure of Awakening.
