If you’ve never really cared about horses in The Sims 4, you’re not alone. However, there are many fans who have eagerly anticipated their arrival, and it seems that EA has finally listened. They have teased that horses will be coming to the game very soon.
The Sims 4 developer Maxis has been working hard to please fans lately. Last year, they brought back werewolves, added more options for Sims teens, and reintroduced babies in a big way. Now, it seems that it’s finally time for the highly requested horses to make their appearance. EA has announced their latest development roadmap for The Sims 4, which includes two bold kits and a rootin’ tootin’ expansion set to be released between June and September.
If the language used in the announcement wasn’t enough of a hint, the accompanying teaser image features the phrase “take the reins” over a Western-inspired landscape, strongly suggesting that a horse-themed expansion is on the way. Recent leaks have supported this, revealing that the new expansion is called Horse Ranch and will include a new world, horse rearing, new events, and even mini sheep and mini goats.
The full reveal of the next batch of DLC releases for The Sims 4 will be livestreamed on YouTube this Thursday, July 22nd, just before 6pm BST.
