The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – Guide to Finding and Farming Fire Keese
In the popular video game, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, upgrading your armor to maximum strength requires collecting various monster parts. One such monster, the Fire Keese, becomes elusive when you’re in need of it. Here’s a comprehensive guide to help you locate and farm Fire Keese in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
The Danger of Fire Keese
Fire Keese poses a significant threat as they can deal severe flame damage upon collision if you’re caught off guard. Thankfully, spotting them from a distance is relatively easy, especially during the night. If you have a bow and arrows, taking them out from a safe distance is the best way to eliminate the threat they pose.
Where to Find and Farm Fire Keese
To find and farm Fire Keese, you should explore areas around Death Mountain. These creatures favor hot climates in general, with a higher likelihood of encounter near the volcano or in the mountainous regions northwest of the base.
One efficient method to encounter a few Fire Keese enemies is to fast travel to the Sitsum Shrine, located on the western slope of Death Mountain. Upon arrival, jump forward from the ledge and glide towards the left. By heading almost due south, you’ll reach a rocky ledge that overlooks an area where three Fire Keese can be found circling in the air. This specific location provides unparalleled convenience for farming Fire Keese. Refer to the map screenshot above for precise details on the ledge’s location.
In addition, you may occasionally encounter Fire Keese in the northwest areas, specifically in the Eldin Mountains, although they are not as common. Once you’ve dealt with the ones near Sitsum Shrine, consider venturing into the Eldin Mountains Depths. Equipped with powerful Flame Guard armor and metal weapons, you’ll be able to explore the hotter regions where Fire Keese are more likely to appear.
