Getting to Know the Six Classes
To get started in BattleBit Remastered, it’s important to understand the different classes available. There are six primary classes to choose from:
- Squad Leader
- Medic
- Engineer
- Assault
- Support
- Recon
Each class has its own unique strengths and weaknesses, offering players a variety of roles to fulfill. If you’re new to the game, I recommend trying out all the classes except Squad Leader first. Leading a squad requires additional responsibilities beyond just being a skilled shooter.
Communication is Key
In BattleBit Remastered, effective communication is crucial for success. The game provides voice chat functionality with different categories:
- Squad Leader Chat (Orange) – Exclusive to squad leaders, this chat allows for communication with other squad leaders to share important information and coordinate strategies.
- Squad Chat (Green) – Use the green Squad Chat to communicate with your squad members via radio, delivering orders or sharing news.
- Local Chat (Blue) – The local chat enables communication with nearby players, both friend and foe. It’s a great way to engage in friendly banter or trash talk with the enemy team.
Take Advantage of the Game’s Vehicles
BattleBit Remastered offers a wide range of vehicles, including tanks, helicopters, APCs, and humvees. These vehicles not only provide firepower but also enhance mobility and speed. Discover the various ways you can utilize vehicles to your advantage, such as using quad bikes for sniping positions or Blackhawk helicopters to transport teammates to capture zones. The options are plentiful, so make the most of them.
Don’t Forget About Your Gadgets
While it’s tempting to focus solely on your primary weapon, BattleBit Remastered features useful gadgets that can greatly impact gameplay. Antipersonnel mines can slow down enemy advances, and smoke grenade launchers can obscure their vision. Additionally, a grappling hook can help you reach high ground. Don’t overlook these gadgets and remember to use them strategically to benefit your team.
Save Knocked Players Whenever You Can
If you or a squad member gets taken out by an enemy, don’t panic. In BattleBit Remastered, players are “knocked” instead of immediately dying. This means you have a chance to be revived by a nearby teammate who can apply a bandage. However, if no one is close enough to assist, you can choose to “Give Up” and respawn, but this will deduct a ticket. Make the decision that best suits the situation.
Stop the Bleeds
When you’re hit in the game, you’ll start bleeding out. To stop the bleeding, press the 3 key (default configuration) and left-click to bandage yourself. If you need to bandage a teammate, use the right-click. Keep in mind that the healing process is slow, so it’s wise to find a safe location before tending to your wounds. You can also provide bandages to a teammate by pressing the middle mouse button when they run out.
