Accessing the Coliseum Ruins Cave in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, most caves are easily accessible without any obstacles. However, the Coliseum Ruins Cave requires you to solve a task or puzzle before you can enter. This hidden cave holds valuable rewards, so it’s worth unlocking. Here are the steps to find and access the Coliseum Ruins Cave.
Locating the Coliseum Ruins Cave
The Coliseum Ruins Cave is found beneath the Coliseum Ruins, situated southwest of the Hyrule Field Skyview Tower.
Dealing with the Thunder Gleeok
Before searching for the cave entrance, it’s important to defeat the Thunder Gleeok in the coliseum. This powerful enemy can deal significant damage with its electric breath, so it’s recommended to eliminate it first.
Unlocking the Cave Entrance
To access the Coliseum Ruins Cave, go to the back of the coliseum at ground level. Look for a blocked-off hole in the floor near two knight statues. One statue holds a Soldier’s Claymore, while the other is empty-handed. The missing Soldier’s Claymore is located to the right of the weaponless statue. Use Ultrahand to place the claymore in the statue’s hands.
This action will unseal the hole in the floor, granting you entry into the Coliseum Ruins Cave. Inside, you can discover the Trousers of Awakening, a cosmetic armor piece from the Link’s Awakening Switch remake. Additionally, you may encounter a Bubbulfrog and obtain its Bubbul Gem by crawling through the space blocked by crates on the right.
