Formation Games Announces New Advisory Group for Upcoming Football Management Game Club
Formation Games, the developer behind the highly anticipated football management game Club, has recently appointed a new advisory group consisting of industry veterans.
Members of this advisory group include Nick Button-Brown, chair of Outright Games and Coherence, Nikki Lewis, a marketer with extensive experience at Riot, Rockstar Games, and Epic Games, Sean Lee, the chief development officer for Wargaming, Linda Fane, a former member of Bungie’s Destiny 2 leadership team, and Sam Li, the former vice-president of the NBA.
Jonty Barnes, the CEO of Formation Games and a veteran of the gaming industry himself, expressed his excitement about the new advisory group, stating, “I’m delighted to have such a hugely experienced and talented group of advisors guiding myself and the team through the development of CLUB.”
Barnes also commented on the exceptional expertise of the advisory group, saying, “The studio has attracted a superstar advisory group with some of the best thought leaders in the games industry. While we have a proven and talented studio, taking advice from some of the industry’s biggest innovators is a privilege. It’s accelerating our development as well as leveling up our team. The group altogether has invested close to $2m dollars, so they have a personal stake in our success, which is a testament to their confidence in what we are building here at Formation Games.”
Formation Games’ Journey Towards Club’s Release
This recent announcement is part of Formation Games’ preparation for the release of Club. The company has been strategically assembling a pool of talent, including advisors, developers, and endorsers. They have also secured investments from various industry players, such as Little Dot Studios, who partnered with Formation Games for a promotional social media campaign.
With the launch of Club nearing, all eyes are on Formation Games to see if they can deliver on expectations. However, with this dream team of industry veterans, the prospects are looking incredibly promising. Moreover, considering the ongoing success of games like Football Manager and FIFA Mobile in the mobile football arena, the industry has never been more action-packed.
