Tears of the Kingdom – Where to Find the Cap of Twilight
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom offers a selection of armor sets to satisfy fans of the series. Among these outfits, the Twilight set pays homage to Twilight Princess. To acquire the complete set, players must gather various pieces. Here is a guide explaining how to obtain the Cap of Twilight in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
The Cap of Twilight Location
The Cap of Twilight is part of the Twilight set. It allows Link to adopt the traditional style that was prevalent in previous games. To obtain the Cap of Twilight, you must venture to the Gleeok Den in the Depths and eliminate the King Gleeok guarding a treasure chest.
Finding the Gleeok Den: The den is situated in the Depths, near the north central region corresponding to Thyphlo Ruins in the overworld. To reach the den easily, descend through the Drenan Highlands Chasm and head northeast. Alternatively, if you have activated Katenim Lightroot, you can fast travel to it, descend southwest, and then proceed east through the canyon. Whichever route you choose, you will come across a narrow opening that leads to the den. See the screenshot below for a map of its exact location. For further details, consult our dedicated guide on locating the Gleeok Den.
Defeating King Gleeok: The Gleeok Den is home to the formidable King Gleeok. This fearsome foe has multiple heads that must be eliminated before you can damage its torso. Each head possesses a different type of elemental blast. From its memorable debut in the original The Legend of Zelda on the NES, Gleeok has been regarded as an awe-inspiring monster. However, the battle itself is not particularly enjoyable due to its ability to inflict gloom damage.
For assistance in defeating Gleeok monsters, refer to our guide on how to defeat Frost Gleeok. Many of the strategies shared in that guide also apply to King Gleeok. Make sure to swiftly eliminate all three heads, as they may revive prematurely. Once the Gleeok collapses, approach it closely and deal as much damage as possible to its main body. Then, the heads will regenerate, and the cycle repeats. Utilize the stone columns along the perimeter of the open stage area to evade its attacks while preparing your bow.
Acquiring the Cap of Twilight: After emerging victorious against King Gleeok, open the treasure chest in the den to obtain the Cap of Twilight. When worn, this piece will showcase your status as a top-notch hero capable of defeating even a multi-headed dragon.
