Netmarble and Netmarble Nexus Announce Shangri-La Frontier Video Game
Publisher Netmarble and developer Netmarble Nexus have recently revealed that they will be producing a captivating video game based on the highly acclaimed manga series, Shangri-La Frontier.
What do we know about the Shangri-La Frontier video game?
In an exciting announcement trailer for the game, fans catch a glimpse of Hizutome Rakuro, the main character (portrayed by Yuma Uchida in the upcoming anime), and his online alter ego, Sunraku, exiting a door alongside Emul, a vorpal rabbit. The trailer teases a brief encounter, culminating in Sunraku charging into battle against an unidentified opponent.
Unfortunately, no further information about the game’s release date or the platforms it will be available on has been disclosed. However, the trailer promises an expansive world to explore, dynamic characters, eye-catching skill scenes, and more.

Originally conceived as a web novel series in 2017, Shangri-La Frontier later became a manga in 2020. Penned by Katarina, the story follows the journey of Hizutome Rakuro, an ardent fan of “trash games,” as he immerses himself in the immensely popular VR game, Shangri-La Frontier, determined to conquer it.
In addition to the video game adaptation, Shangri-La Frontier will also be adapted into an anime series set to premiere in October.
