Digits Explained and How To Play
Digits may seem complex at first glance compared to simpler games like Wordle. However, it is surprisingly easy to grasp. Each challenge consists of five puzzles, where you are given a target number and six integers to reach that target. You can use addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division to manipulate the numbers, but only in ways that result in whole numbers. Decimals, negatives, and fractions are not allowed.
The target numbers gradually increase in difficulty. The first range is between 50-100 and subsequent challenges become progressively harder, with the final one typically falling between 400-500. Most puzzles can be solved in two, three, or four moves, although occasionally a five-move puzzle may appear.
As you solve each puzzle, you will earn stars. Achieving the target number exactly awards three stars, while being within ten or twenty-five of the target grants two or one star, respectively. With five puzzles released daily, you have the opportunity to earn a total of 15 stars.
