The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has been a huge success for Nintendo and continues to perform well in terms of sales. It has consistently topped the charts in Japan, both in physical Switch sales and on the Switch eShop. Nintendo has now released the list of most downloaded Switch games in Japan for the first half of 2023, and Tears of the Kingdom takes the number one spot, which comes as no surprise. Other notable games like Pikmin 2 have also made the cut.
The majority of the games in the top 30 list are from Nintendo, but there are a few third-party titles as well, such as the Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collections and Persona series.
