Amouranth Faces Another Twitch Ban
Recently, there has been a series of Twitch bans that have caught the attention of the gaming community. While Twitch is not always transparent about the reasons behind these bans, it is often possible to speculate. The latest big streamer to be banned on Twitch is Amouranth, and we have some insights into the situation.
Amouranth’s Twitch Ban Explanation
Similar to the recent ban of Pewdiepie, the specific reason for Amouranth’s ban on July 18th has not been disclosed by Twitch.
What makes this ban particularly surprising is the recent announcement of Amouranth signing a streaming deal with Kick. With no public statements from either Amouranth or Twitch, the only indication of the ban is the “Sorry, that page is in another castle!” message displayed on her Twitch page. Due to the lack of information, it is likely that this ban is temporary, although the duration is unknown.
This isn’t Amouranth’s first ban on Twitch – in fact, it is her seventh ban since she started streaming.
Amouranth’s History of Twitch Bans
As mentioned earlier, Amouranth has faced several bans on Twitch. While the platform doesn’t seem to have a strict three-strikes rule, she holds the record for the most bans among streamers.
- September 2019 – Accidental exposure on stream.
- March 2020 – Reasons unknown.
- May 2020 – Accidentally displayed inappropriate content on stream.
