PlayStation and Insomniac Games Announce Limited Edition Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Bundle for PS5

PlayStation and developer Insomniac Games have unveiled an exciting new limited edition bundle for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, set to release in September ahead of the game’s official launch in October.

The limited edition bundle features a PlayStation 5 Digital console, custom console covers, and a matching DualSense controller. The announcement comes shortly after the release of a new story trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Pre-orders for the bundle, as well as the custom covers and DualSense controller (both available for separate purchase), will open on July 28, with all items set to be released on September 1. Additionally, the PS5 bundle includes a voucher for a digital copy of the game upon its launch on October 20.

The limited edition Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 console and DualSense controller are designed with a symbiote theme, showcasing the iconic white spider symbol slowly being taken over by the menacing symbiote. A PlayStation Blog post describes the bundle as “custom PlayStation 5 hardware” that captures the symbiote threat throughout the console and controller.

Those who pre-order the bundle will receive the same pre-order bonuses as those who pre-order the game separately, including early unlocks for the Arachknight Suit, Shadow Spider suit, Web Grabber gadget, and three skill points.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is set to release exclusively on PlayStation 5 on October 20.
