Pikmin 4’s recent release on the Nintendo Switch has not only delighted gamers, but has also unveiled a rich and intricate world of Pikmin lore. The lore, which is surprisingly detailed and at times unsettling, has captivated many players.

In a new video on our YouTube channel, titled ‘Pikmin Lore Highlights’, our resident Piklopedia researcher, Alex, delves deep into the wealth of information presented in Pikmin 4. While the in-game Piklopedia provides even more detailed insights into the creatures you encounter, Alex provides an overview of some of the lore highlights.

What is particularly remarkable about the in-game encyclopedia is its attention to detail. The creature names draw inspiration from Latin, mimicking real-life flora and fauna in a way that is both logical and convincing.
