Red Dead Redemption Remake Speculation Grows with New Logo
Rockstar Games has recently updated the logo for Red Dead Redemption on its website, leading to increased speculation about a possible remake or remaster release.
Twitter user TezFunz2 was the first to spot the new logo, which features a cleaner and crisper design compared to the previous version. While it could potentially be a result of internal housekeeping, the addition of a game listing titled “Red Dead Redemption (Rockstar Presents Ver)” on the website further fuels the speculation.
The speculation gains further momentum due to the recent update in classification by the South Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee, a body known for revealing upcoming releases through its classifications. The original Red Dead Redemption, widely regarded as one of the best open-world games of the PS3/Xbox 360 generation, is currently playable on Xbox One. However, fans are eagerly anticipating a full remake of the game using Red Dead Redemption 2’s updated engine, especially as details on GTA 6 remain scarce.
As someone who recently finished Red Dead Redemption 2 and added the original game to my collection, a remake would be a welcome addition, allowing me to revisit the first game and experience it with the enhancements of its sequel.
We have reached out to Rockstar Games for comment and will update this story if we receive a response.
