The Frog Detective Trilogy is Expanding to Consoles

The PlayStation consoles are about to welcome a charming new addition to their game library – the Frog Detective series. The much-loved detective frog games, Frog Detective: The Entire Mystery, are set to launch on PS5 and PS4, alongside Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

The Frog Detective Trilogy is Coming Soon

The exciting announcement was made through a short trailer unveiling the ports for the Frog Detective trilogy. While no specific price point has been revealed, the bundle was released on PC in October 2022 at a cost of only $13.47. It is expected that the console versions may be priced slightly higher.

IGN has also teased that this release will feature an exclusive scooter mini-game. Additional details about this mini-game have not yet been disclosed, but fans were given a glimpse of it at the end of the trailer, sparking curiosity and anticipation.

Existing fans of the Frog Detective series are well aware of its popularity on PC, with all three games enjoying an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on Steam. These comedy-driven titles offer brief gameplay experiences, with the first two games lasting about an hour, and the third installment slightly longer. Players assume the role of the frog detective and embark on whimsical adventures to solve amusing mysteries. Frog Detective 1: The Haunted Island was released in 2018, followed by Frog Detective 2: The Case of the Invisible Wizard in the subsequent year. The series concluded with the launch of Frog Detective 3: Corruption at Cowboy County in 2022.
