Beta Release Date
The highly anticipated release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is just around the corner, and fans can expect a Beta version to be available prior to the full release. Betas not only allow players to get a sneak peek of the game, but they also provide valuable feedback to developers for further improvements. Here’s what you need to know about the MW3 Beta.
MW3 Beta Release Date
According to the official Call of Duty Twitter account, the MW3 Open Beta/Early Access will be available on the following platforms:

PlayStation users will have the opportunity to experience Modern Warfare 3 Early Access during Weekend One, with an Open Beta for Multiplayer shortly after. Weekend Two will open the Beta to Xbox and PC players for Early Access, while PlayStation users can join the Open Beta. The Beta is expected to go live at 10 a.m. PT on the corresponding dates and will end at a similar time.
How to Access MW3 Beta
Players can gain early access to Modern Warfare 3 by participating in the free Open Beta weekends mentioned above. Pre-ordering or pre-purchasing MW3 will also grant players the Early Access version, giving them a head start. However, pre-ordering is not necessary to participate in the Open Beta phase.
Xbox users will not require a Live Core Subscription during Weekend 2 of the Open Beta, but they will need online access once MW3 officially releases. Those who pre-order the Vault edition will receive various rewards, including the Nemesis Operator Pack, two Weapon Vaults, and Blackcell ‘+30 Additional Tier Skips’.
Modern Warfare 3 Beta Expected Content
The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer Open Beta will feature 16 revamped versions of maps from MW2. Players can look forward to the return of beloved destinations like Terminal, Rust, Wasteland, and Scrapyard.
