The Latest Season of Fortnite Has Arrived: Last Resort
The highly-anticipated season of Fortnite, called Last Resort, is finally here! This season introduces a new battle pass filled with exciting skins, along with several new points of interest on the map, returning weapons, fresh items, and more. The overarching theme of this season revolves around heists, covering both stealthy operations and action-packed gun battles, all tied together by a mysterious vampire named Kado Thorne.
Kado Thorne – The Enigmatic Vampire
At the heart of Last Resort, players will encounter Kado Thorne, a vampire who has made the battle island his own in Fortnite Chapter 4: Season 4. Thorne’s primary objective is to drain wealth and treasures from the island in order to finance the development of new points of interest, which include Sanguine Suites, Relentless Retreat, and Eclipsed Estate.
These locations are heavily fortified bases equipped with surveillance cameras, laser grids, and guards. Players venturing inside will discover valuable items gathered by Thorne. Additionally, Thorne has also claimed Rumble Ruins, the Slap Juice factory, and a tower in Mega City as part of his dominion.

Before delving into Thorne’s estates, players should familiarize themselves with the newly introduced weapons and items. The Infiltrator Pump Shotgun, Scoped Burst SMG, and Twin Mag Assault Rifle are available for players to obtain. Of particular interest is the Twin Mag Assault Rifle, which features a flippable magazine for faster reloads every other time. The Business Turret is a unique addition to the battle royale, disguising itself as a briefcase until it’s thrown and transformed into a devastating turret.
Inside the bases, players will find Heist Bags packed with tools such as Crash Pad Jr., Remote Explosives, Rocket Ram, ammunition, healing items, and more. Moreover, hidden within Thorne’s properties are precious Mythic items from previous seasons, including Midas’ Drum Gun, TNTina’s Ka-Boom Bow, Ocean’s Bottomless Chug, Kit’s Charge Shotgun, Kit’s Shockwave Launcher, Zyg and Choppy’s Ray Gun, the Foundation’s MK-Seven Assault Rifle, and Gunnar’s Stinger SMG.

New Survivor Medals and Battle Pass Skins
Survivor Medals are a novel feature in Season 4. Players earn these medals by surviving. To upgrade to the next medal, players must complete a Survivor Quest in Battle Royale or Zero Build mode, where they need to outlast a specific number of opponents while achieving a certain number of eliminations. Higher medal rarities entail more challenging quests, with the ultimate Mythic 1 medal reserved for the most exceptional survivors.
Players can acquire seven medal rarities, with each rarity featuring ten upgrades: common, uncommon, rare, epic, legendary, exotic, and mythic. Earning the Common 1 medal unlocks the coveted Prized Llama Back Bling, while additional styles for this Back Bling are obtainable as players progress through higher rarities.
