Spyro’s Expansion to Multiple Platforms
Originally released in 2018, the Spyro Reignited Trilogy initially launched on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, it later expanded its availability to the Nintendo Switch and PC in 2019. The collection features remakes of the beloved classics: Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon.
A Nostalgic Journey Through Spyro’s History
Spyro the Dragon, the original game in the series, captivated players when it debuted in 1998 for the PlayStation. Developed by Insomniac Games, the game quickly became a massive success, earning praise not only for its gameplay but also for its exceptional soundtrack composed by The Police drummer Stewart Copeland. The soundtrack for the Reignited Trilogy, which includes 45 tracks spanning all three games, is now available on Spotify.
