Nintendo Direct Tomorrow: Focus on Nintendo Switch Games
Nintendo has officially announced that it will be hosting a Nintendo Direct tomorrow, September 14th. The direct will primarily highlight upcoming Nintendo Switch games set to release by the end of 2023.
Starting at 10am ET/ 7am PT/ 3pm GMT / 12am AEST, the Nintendo Direct is expected to run for approximately 40 minutes. Viewers can watch the live stream on the official Nintendo website here. While there haven’t been any specific game confirmations, fans can only speculate about what titles might be showcased.
After an eventful year, the Nintendo Switch continues to offer an impressive lineup of games in the upcoming months. The highly anticipated Super Mario RPG remake will be released on November 17th, alongside Persona 5 Tactica (which will also be available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, and PS5). Prior to that, the new WarioWare game, WarioWare Move It!, is set to launch on November 3rd, followed by Super Mario Bros. Wonder on October 20th. While it remains uncertain if any of these games will make an appearance in tomorrow’s Direct, anticipation remains high.
Switching gears, recent reports revealed that tech demos for the rumored “Switch 2” were quietly exhibited at Gamescom. Notably, a demo showcasing an enhanced version of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was presented, specifically developed for the upcoming console’s more robust hardware. These reports have been confirmed by reliable sources.
Furthermore, Eiji Aonuma, producer of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, recently confirmed that the development team has no plans to release additional content for the sequel, despite its tremendous success. As a result, fans shouldn’t get their hopes up for the return of the Master Cycle Zero.
