Teardown Coming to Consoles
The highly-anticipated voxel-based simulation game, Teardown, is finally making its way to consoles. Developed by Tuxedo Labs, Teardown was initially released on PC in April of last year. Now, the studio has announced that the game will be hitting PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 15.
Excitingly, Teardown will also be included in the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members when it launches on PS5. To celebrate the console release, Tuxedo Labs has revealed a slew of new content coming to the game over the next year, as well as the introduction of Teardown’s first-ever season pass.

New Missions, Maps, and More
To ensure a smooth start for new players, Tuxedo Labs recommends beginning with Teardown’s story campaign. This campaign features 40 levels, each with a main objective and a series of bonus challenges. You’ll have to accomplish these tasks within a time limit using an array of tools, weapons, and vehicles. Once you’ve completed the campaign, you can dive into the Sandbox Mode, which allows for unlimited exploration of all the campaign levels.
Time Campers DLC
As part of the console release, Tuxedo Labs will be launching the Time Campers DLC. This campaign expansion takes players on a wild west adventure, complete with a new storyline, old-fashioned weapons and tools, and a dusty mining town to wreak havoc in.
Folkrace DLC
In the spring of next year, Teardown fans can look forward to the Folkrace DLC. This downloadable content introduces a fleet of new vehicles for players to use in races and destructive challenges.
More DLCs on the Horizon
But that’s not all! Tuxedo Labs has two additional DLCs planned for release in 2024, although the details remain a mystery. By purchasing the Teardown season pass, players will gain access to all four DLCs slated for the game.
