System Update Preview Coming to Xbox Beta Ring
Attention Xbox Insiders! We are excited to announce that there is a new Xbox Update Preview headed your way. While some of the changes in these preview builds may not be immediately noticeable in the user interface, they are important updates that contribute to the overall quality and stability of Xbox consoles. We want to keep you informed about upcoming updates for your device, so here are the details:
System Update Details
- Released OS version: XB_FLT_2310ZN25398.2512.231011-2200
- Availability: 2 p.m. PT – October 13, 2023
- Mandatory: 3 a.m. PT – October 14, 2023
Implemented Fixes
Thanks to the hard work of our dedicated Xbox engineers, several fixes have been implemented in this build. Here are the highlights:
Games
- Resolved the issue causing unexpected vibrations on certain steering wheels while playing certain titles.
Network Transfer
- Addressed the issue that prevented some users from initiating a network transfer as expected.
System
- Performed various updates to ensure accurate representation of local languages throughout the console. Note: Users participating in the Preview program may encounter unfamiliar text on the console. For more information, please consult our dedicated resource.
Known Issues
We understand that there have been some persistent issues mentioned in previous Xbox Insider Release Notes. Rest assured that our Xbox engineers are actively working to find solutions for these problems, but it may take some time to address them completely.
Audio
- We have received reports of intermittent audio issues across the dashboard, games, and apps. If you have experienced these issues, make sure you have installed the latest firmware updates for your TV and other equipment. If problems persist, please contact the manufacturer for assistance. Note: If you continue to experience audio issues after applying the latest firmware updates, please submit a detailed report through the “Report a Problem” feature, selecting the category “Console experiences” and “Console Audio Output Issues”. Include relevant information such as when the issue started, whether you lost audio in games/apps or system-wide, any changes you made to the audio settings, and a description of your setup.
Keyboard Button Mapping for Xbox Controllers
- If you change your keyboard language settings while the Xbox Accessories app is open, the change will take effect after exiting the app or rebooting your console.
Networking
- We are currently investigating reports of network connectivity issues upon booting the console. If you come across this problem, please report it promptly through the “Report a Problem” feature.
Remember to utilize the Report a Problem feature to keep us updated on any issues you encounter. While we may not be able to respond individually to every report, the data we gather is essential for finding resolutions.
