Blizzard Put Real Human Blood In A PC, And You Can Win It

Attention Diablo IV players in the US! From now until November 20, you have the opportunity to earn free content for the game by donating blood at any blood donation center. This initiative is part of a campaign by Blizzard to reach a collective goal of 666 quarts of blood donated. But even if the goal falls short, players will still receive rewards at 33% and 66% of the target, with the final reward being given if the campaign reaches the full 666-quart target. Donors need to log their blood donation on the Blood Harvest website to be eligible for the rewards.

Reaching 666 quarts of blood equates to 1,332 donations, according to Blizzard. If the goal is achieved, all Diablo IV players will be entered into a sweepstakes where they have a chance to win a custom-made PC featuring real human blood as part of its liquid cooling system. The image below shows what the PC looks like:

In addition to the sweepstakes, donors will also receive in-game rewards based on the donation tiers. The rewards include weapon cosmetics such as a dagger, axe, sword, and more. If the campaign reaches the full 666-quart target, all players will receive the Vermillion Eye Piebald horse. Here are the different reward tiers:

At 33% of the total goal, all players will receive the following Weapon Cosmetics:

  • Dagger: Bloodpetal Anlace
  • Axe: Bloodpetal Sever
