The latest lineup of free games available on the Epic Games Store has been announced, and one of the games included is the sci-fi adventure game Deliver Us Mars.
Starting from November 24 to November 30, users will be able to claim KeokeN Interactive’s Deliver Us Mars for free, instead of its usual $31.50 (£24.99) price.
Deliver Us Mars serves as the sequel to the award-winning Deliver Us The Moon, providing an immersive astronaut experience with an atmospheric third-person adventure. In this game, players will embark on a suspense-fueled, high-stakes mission to recover the ARK colony ships stolen by the mysterious Outward.
Following this, from November 30 to December 7, Deliver Us Mars will be replaced by Jitsu Squad and Mighty Fight Federation, two colorful fighting games that were both released in 2022.
Jitsu Squad is a four-player co-op tag team beat ‘em up game inspired by Marvel vs Capcom, featuring epic character transformations and fast-paced combat. The game boasts a roster of playable characters and special abilities that allow for powerful combos, with comparisons made to popular games in the genre such as Dragonball FighterZ and Super Smash Bros.
Mighty Fight Federation, developed by Komi Games, offers a competitive twist on the party-fighter genre, featuring 1v1 matches, team fights, and a free-for-all mode with 14 characters to choose from. The game serves as a throwback to classic 3D arena fighters, with an emphasis on fighting game fundamentals and the ability to utilize “hype mechanics to zone, evade, counter, and play mind-games with opponents.”
Epic Games admitted during the Epic vs. Google court case on November 6 that its digital storefront still isn’t profitable. Store boss Steve Allison stated that the digital PC store isn’t profitable despite its debut in December 2018, but that the company’s “goal” is still “growth.”
