After being accidentally revealed and removed from the Epic Games Stores last month, fans of Batman: Arkham Knight will be excited to learn that Robert Pattison’s The Batman suit will be officially released as a free skin. This new skin will allow players to embody the dark knight from the highly anticipated film, The Batman (2022). With no recent updates, this new addition is a welcome refresh for devoted players.
However, this free DLC will initially be available for Nintendo Switch players, with plans to eventually make it available for other platforms. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming skin.
The Batman Suit is Officially Coming to Arkham Knight for Free
Robert Pattison’s suit from The Batman will be available on Nintendo Switch on December 1, as a part of the Batman: Arkham Knight Trilogy. This compilation includes Batman: Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and Arkham Knight, as confirmed in their official tweet. It will be added as free downloadable content for Arkham Knight on other platforms including PS4, Xbox One, and PC at a later date as confirmed in the trailer. Despite Rocksteady Studios having added several costumes after the release, this latest update is a fantastic inclusion.
During its accidental addition to the Epic Games Store, PC players had a chance to try out this Batman suit. The skin, labeled “The Batman 2022” with the description “I am the Shadows“, caused quite a stir among players who were hoping for a new skin.
For those wondering why the suit was removed from the game, the mystery is now solved. Perhaps Warner Bros Games was saving the bat-suit for this official release. Hopefully, this time The Batman suit won’t be removed from the game.
