Best Loadout for Sidewinder in Modern Warfare 3 (MW3)
When I set out to write this guide, I wasn’t aware that the Modern Warfare 3 community had such negative feelings toward the Sidewinder. However, my personal experience with this battle rifle has been very positive, and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorites to use. The key, I’ve found, lies in the loadout I’ve created for it. Read on to learn how to optimize the Sidewinder for success in MW3.
Attachments for the Sidewinder
- Muzzle: Casus Brake L
- Underbarrel: Bruen Pivot Vertical Grip
- Optic: Corio Enforcer Optic
- Stock: Warforged Precision Stock
- Barrel: Predator Precision Barrel
The main issue to address with the Sidewinder is its recoil. The combination of the Bruen Pivot Vertical Grip and the Predator Precision Barrel provides better control and manages the recoil effectively. Meanwhile, the Warforged Precision Stock delivers additional stability and accuracy. The Corio Enforcer Optic, optimized for close-quarters combat, enhances aim down sights (ADS) speed and precision for better accuracy in medium-range engagements as well.
Gear for the Sidewinder
- Secondary: TYR Revolver
- Field Upgrade: Anti-Armor Rounds
- Gloves: Quick Grip Gloves
- Boots: Running Sneakers
- Gear 1: Mission Control Comlink
- Gear 2: Mag Holster
- Vest: CCT Comms Vest
The Sidewinder, with its quick fire rate and potent damage, is akin to an SMG but with better killing potential. The gear I’ve selected is designed to enhance these qualities. The TYR Revolver serves as a reliable backup for close-quarters encounters, while the Quick Grip Gloves and Running Sneakers provide agility and rapid reloads. The Mission Control Comlink and Mag Holster combined make for a swift and deadly combination, giving you an edge in maneuverability and reload speed to outshine your enemies.
