Sega has recently unveiled a new trailer for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, shedding light on a poignant plot development involving one of the franchise’s most beloved characters.

The latest trailer delves into the revelation that the long-standing Like a Dragon character Kiryu has been diagnosed with cancer, and despite his valiant efforts, his body has succumbed to the illness. The trailer also depicts Kiryu creating a bucket list of sorts and planning to tie up loose ends throughout the game.

What to Expect from Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth

Infinite Wealth is set to be released both physically and digitally on the mentioned date. It will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, as well as the Microsoft Store and Steam.

As a direct sequel to 2020’s Yakuza: Like a Dragon, the upcoming installment serves as the eighth main entry in the action series, featuring two larger-than-life heroes, Ichiban Kasuga and Kazuma Kiryu, who find themselves brought together by fate.

Players will have the opportunity to explore Yokohama’s Isezaki Ijincho and even Hawaii, marking the series’ first venture to an overseas location.
