How to Collect Shells in Lego Fortnite
Lego Fortnite is a survival-crafting game that is an off-shoot of the popular battle royale game. In order to progress in the game, players need to collect a variety of crafting materials, including Shells, which are necessary for the first Crafting Table upgrade. The game’s tutorial doesn’t provide clear instructions on where to find Shells, so here’s a guide to locating Shells and their variants.
Locating Roller Shells
Shells are dropped by Rollers, which are rock enemies found in the open world of Lego Fortnite. Rollers can be found during the day and at night, and they are recognizable by the pink flowers on their heads that stick out of the ground. Additionally, Rollers are made of Lego bricks, unlike normal rocks, making them easy to identify.
Rollers are tough enemies, so it’s important to be prepared when facing them. Players should craft a sword at the Crafting Table using Wooden Rods from the Lumber Mill and bring enough food to replenish health, as each hit by the Roller causes significant damage. Defeating a Roller will yield one to three Shells, and five Shells are needed to upgrade the Crafting Table.
There are also variants of Rollers, such as the Sand Roller and Frost Roller, found in desert and snow regions, respectively. These variants drop Sand and Frost Shells, which are used for later upgrades in the game. However, they can still be found in the same way as the basic Roller.
