You’ve spent quite some time playing Lego Fortnite, leveling up your crafting bench, and unlocking new blueprints. However, you may have encountered a setback in finding the materials needed to build these new blueprints, such as copper. But worry not, as we’re here to guide you on where to find copper, how to harvest it, and what to do with it once you’ve gathered it.
Where to Find Copper in Lego Fortnite
Copper can be found in lava caves, which are located in the desert biome. This means that you may need to venture a considerable distance from your home village to procure copper. If you haven’t already explored the desert biome, it is usually in the opposite direction from the snowy areas.
Upon entering the lava caves, you will come across copper deposits scattered throughout. However, to mine the copper, you’ll need two essential items: heat resistance, and a rare (blue) pickaxe. The excessive heat within the caves can be countered by consuming a snowberry shake, which grants ten minutes of heat resistance and can be easily created by mixing snowberries and milk in a juicer.
How to Get a Rare Pickaxe in Lego Fortnite
To mine copper, a rare (blue) pickaxe is required. This can be crafted at a crafting bench using three sand claws from desert beasts and three flexwood rods, made from flexwood obtained from cactus plants in the desert regions. Once obtained, the rare pickaxe can be used to break copper deposits, yielding copper ore, which can then be melted into copper bars using a metal smelter.
With these copper bars, you can now open up a host of new crafting possibilities within the game.
