I’m currently fully engrossed in the world of Persona. After my personal review of Persona 4 Golden, I felt compelled to revisit it and spend more time with what I consider to be the best entry in the series. Not only that, I’ve also gotten my hands on a copy of Persona 5 Tactica, so that’s next on my list to explore.
I’m also looking to add Persona 3 Portable to my collection for the Switch, although I’m waiting for a price drop. It’s been on sale a few times already, so hopefully it will go on sale again soon. It would be great to reacquaint myself with it before the launch of Reload in the new year.

I recently purchased Outer Wilds on the Switch and, to my surprise, I’ve been having a great time with it! While the performance on the Nintendo hybrid isn’t always the best, the central mystery and overall enjoyable experience have been keeping me coming back for more.
I’ve spent quite a few hours playing it this week and I hope to finish it soon so that I can head into the holidays with a slightly lighter backlog. Though, I have to admit that LEGO Fortnite has also captured my interest, so exploring space might have to take a backseat for a while.

Despite not loving the DLC, I’ll be playing a lot of The Indigo Disk in order to complete the Pokédex — at this point, it feels almost obligatory. However, the fact that you can’t catch all Legendaries without playing with friends online has put a damper on my excitement.
Pokémon has paused my progress in Dave The Diver and Grandia II, so I plan to dive into those games as well. We’re in the season for comfort gaming, especially with Christmas right around the corner.

This weekend is a bit different for me. I’ve started a new “let’s play” project on YouTube with a friend, so I’ll be spending a good amount of time using Nintendo Switch Online emulation suites to create episodes of our show. We’ve already played Ice Hockey, Ice Climber, and Balloon Fight on NES, and Golden Axe on Mega Drive. I’m looking forward to starting Super Nintendo episodes next week. I also hope I can find some time for a few rounds of Arcade Archives AERO FIGHTERS.
The Game of the Week for me is a bucket list title from my extensive backlog: Grand Theft Auto V. Yes, I’ve decided that ten years was long enough to wait for the game to come to Nintendo platforms, so I’ll be playing it on PC. I expect to be playing this well into 2024 and finally complete the only GTA game I’ve never played.

Now that my Apollo Justice hands-on review is live, I can honestly say that I’ll be playing it A LOT during Christmas. I believe I have about 12 more cases to get through? R.I.P. me.
But there’s a game that I want to bring to your attention because barely anyone is talking about it and I NEED YOU ALL TO PLAY IT. It’s called Cobalt Core, and it’s a roguelite deck builder set in space with some of the most charming writing I’ve ever seen in a game! It’s a perfect fit for handheld gaming, and if you enjoy games like Slay the Spire, Into The Breach, FTL, or simply having a great time, you owe it to yourself to give it a try. NOW. GO.
Also, LEGO Fortnite. I actually haven’t played regular Fortnite in about a week because of how much LEGO Fortnite I’ve been playing!
There are our plans, but what about you? Drop the game that you will be maining in the poll below and then take to the comments to let us know what else you have on the cards.
