Fallout London Mod Release Delayed to April 23, 2024
The highly-anticipated independent mod for Fallout 4, Fallout London, was originally set to be released soon, on St. George’s Day, April 23, 2024. However, the release date has been pushed back due to unforeseen circumstances.
The mod team announced that the mod is “content-complete” but needs additional testing time. This is due to some team members being affected by conflicts in their region, which has impacted their focus on the mod. As a result, the testing process has not been as thorough as desired.
Due to this, the team has decided to delay the release to allow for more testing time and ensure that the mod meets the necessary quality standards.
Fallout: London is described as a “DLC-sized mod for Bethesda’s Fallout 4” and offers players the opportunity to explore the post-apocalyptic environment of London, a departure from the traditional American settings of the Fallout series.
“As a divergence from previous official titles in the series, Fallout: London is not set in America. Visiting a totally new setting allows for us to explore totally new cultures which have not homogenized with their American counterparts. It also allows us to explore pre-war European history, and the effects the Resource Wars had on the class structured society of pre-war Britain.”
