Valve Announces 2023 Steam Awards Winners
Valve has revealed the winners of the 2023 Steam Awards, voted on by Steam users. Games such as Baldur’s Gate 3, Hogwarts Legacy, and Starfield emerged as the top winners, each earning accolades in various categories.
Baldur’s Gate 3 Wins Game of the Year
Baldur’s Gate 3 clinched the coveted Game of the Year award, beating out strong contenders like Resident Evil 4, Lethal Company, and Hogwarts Legacy. This marks another significant victory for Larian Studios, as they also won the same award at The Game Awards and GameSpot’s 2023 Game of the Year.
Steam Awards Winners
Hogwarts Legacy secured the Best Games on Steam Deck title, while Starfield was honored with the Most Innovative Gameplay award, and Sifu earned the Best Game You Suck At accolade.
Last year’s Game of the Year and Best Game You Suck At winner at the 2022 Steam Awards, Elden Ring, is noteworthy to mention as it also clinched GameSpot’s 2022 Game of the Year award.
