The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication serves as a standalone sequel to The Bridge Curse: Road to Salvation and is a reimagined adaptation of the thriller film The Bridge Curse 2: Ritual. It takes the form of a first-person survival horror game, offering players the opportunity to view the unsettling campus ghost story from the perspective of multiple characters.

The narrative unfolds at Wen Hua University, a Taiwan-based institution renowned for its haunting ghost stories. In a bid to recruit new members to the film club, a group of students plan to host the Carnival of Horror in the Da Ren building, where rumors of ghost sightings abound. They intend to reenact a bizarre case that transpired on campus decades ago and transform it into a horror film. However, as they hurry to shoot during the late hours, strange occurrences disturb their plans…

Meanwhile, a journalist arrives on campus following the receipt of an eerie letter, aiming to unravel a longstanding missing persons case. As they piece together a series of clues, the mystery starts to unravel, ultimately revealing a vast conspiracy shrouded in darkness, poised to come to light.

Amidst frantic endeavors to flee, the entity responsible for haunting the building gradually makes its presence known. With malevolent forces closing in and impending doom looming, will anyone manage to survive the terrors of the night?
