Sony Waves Goodbye to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium Titles
Sony has announced its lineup of games leaving the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscription tiers in February. Titles bidding farewell include Resident Evil 7, Tekken 7, and Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown. But fear not, the curse of the number seven ends there, as the remaining seven titles currently listed under the ‘Last chance to play’ section of the PlayStation dashboard are devoid of the unlucky number.
Joining the departure list are sci-fi narrative adventure Tacoma, color-based platform-puzzler Hue, indie darling Thomas Was Alone, and Lost Words: Beyond the Page. Additionally, Square Enix’s Tokyo RPG Factory will see the removal of Lost Sphear, Oninaki, and I am Setsuna from the subscription tiers.
While Sony has not shared an exact removal date for these games, based on previous experience, it is likely to be around 20th February – the same date for the next batch of PlayStation Plus additions.
For those who prefer hellos to goodbyes, January has brought new additions to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium, such as the Resident Evil 2 remake, Lego City Undercover, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, and Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun.
