Persona 3 Reload: How to Fuse Helel
The personas you fuse in Persona 3 Reload play a vital role in your survival in the endgame, with some serving as stepping stones to superior fusions. Here is our guide on fusing Helel in Persona 3 Reload.
In the later stages of the game, you unlock the ability to create extremely powerful personas. These personas, while powerful themselves, can also be used as ingredients in even more advanced fusions, such as Helel, who brings the Salvation healing spell. Additionally, Helel can be used to create the imposing Lucifer.
To fuse Helel, you must first max out the Star Social Link, reach a sufficient level, and combine appropriate weaker personas.
The Star Social Link requires you to complete the Rival Athlete story, which features Mamoru Hayase, an athlete from another school. He can be found at the Strip Mall several afternoons each week. If you find yourself running short on time, you can use the Dating Site Note item, available at Club Escapade, to improve connections between meetings with your friends.
After maxing out the Star Social Link, various possible fuse combinations become available. Some options include Mother Harlot and Susano-O, Beelzebub and Ananta, or Asura and Arahabaki. Ultimately, fusing high-level personas is crucial for finding the right ingredients to fuse Helel.
Helel can be fused when your character reaches level 88. If you haven’t reached that level yet, you can use the Sun Major Arcana card, which allows you to recruit personas five levels over your current level when activated during a Tartarus run.
Helel has the ability to absorb energy from Dark and Light attacks, making it a valuable asset near the end of the game. It can protect you from an immediate game over when such an attack would otherwise be fatal. Additionally, physical attacks are nothing to fear. It is recommended that if you fuse Helel to create Lucifer, you then summon another iteration, as Helel is worth keeping on your active team.
