WWE 2K2K final roster confirms McMahon, Lesnar unplayable

The Latest Roster Update for WWE 2K24 Removes Vince McMahon and Brock Lesnar

After recent allegations, the final rundown of wrestlers playable in WWE 2K24 has now confirmed the removal of Vince McMahon and Brock Lesnar from the game’s roster. This decision was expected by many fans in light of the allegations, even though the game’s focus is on the past 40 years of Wrestlemania. In fact, fans noticed earlier this month that Lesnar had been quietly removed from the artwork used on the game’s cover.

2K published the final roster yesterday on its website via a simple blog post, announcing that 204 wrestlers will be available in the game. The decision to remove McMahon and Lesnar comes after McMahon was accused of sexual assault and trafficking of an employee while running WWE. The lawsuit filed by the alleged victim also included the claim that an unnamed wrestler requested an explicit video of the victim from McMahon during a contract renegotiation, with reports from The Wall Street Journal suggesting that the wrestler is Lesnar. McMahon has denied the allegations in the lawsuit, while Lesnar has not responded to requests for comment. 2K has not provided an official comment on the matter.

It remains unclear whether McMahon and Lesnar will still be included in the game in any capacity outside of being playable characters, or if 2K has scrambled to scrub the pair entirely. The allegations have come to light less than two months from the launch of WWE 2K24, which will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on 8th March.
