Nintendo has been releasing a series of updates for Splatoon 3, with the next one expected to drop later this week.
According to ‘OatmealDome,’ a dataminer and Splatoon 3 enthusiast, the next version is anticipated to launch in a few days. Nintendo’s official Splatoon account provided details about the upcoming update, mentioning that it will revamp ‘Undertow Spillway’:
Nintendo: An important message from the Undertow Spillway maintenance team: “Undertow Spillway will be closed from 4/15 at 5pm to 4/17 at 7pm for inspections and expansion work. For safety reasons, access will be closed during this period so we appreciate your patience.”
This new update comes after Version 7.1.0, which was rolled out to Switch in late March. It included fixes, the DLC Side Order, SplatNet 3 updates, and more. Recently, Nintendo terminated network services for Wii U and 3DS, marking the end of online play for the original Splatoon game.
