How to Unlock and Create Jumpshot Animations in NBA 2K23

To unlock new jump shots, you must upgrade your Mid-Range or Three-Point shot stats to match those of your favorite players. Here’s how to create a new jump shot:

  1. Open the Menu and go to MyPlayer.
  2. Choose Animation.
  3. Go to the Jump Shot Creator Tab.
  4. Choose player styles for:
    • Lower Base
    • Upper Release 1
    • Upper Release 2
    • Blending & Release Speed
  5. After adjusting all four options above, press Triangle or Y to Edit your Save.
  6. Give your Jump Shot a new name.

Finally, head to the Gameplay Animations tab, select Jump Shots, and choose the new profile you just saved.
