Jimmy’s role also faces a setback in Episode 2, “My Adventures with My Girlfriend,” as he gets sidelined to work at the Daily Planet rather than joining Lois and Clark on an investigation. Olsen’s character arc continues to struggle for relevance, a problem that has persisted since Season 1.
