Toy Shooter Hypercharge: Unboxed Is Adding Cross-Platform Support

HYPERCHARGE: Unboxed Coming to Xbox with Cross-Platform Support

The popular toy shooter HYPERCHARGE: Unboxed will be making its way to Xbox next week, and fans will be excited to hear that cross-platform support is on the horizon. Developer Digital Cybercherries has announced that players on Xbox and PC will be able to join forces starting on 31st May 2024.

However, Switch players may have to exercise some patience as there is currently no set date for when crossplay will be available on that platform. When asked about the possibility of crossplay for Switch, the developer responded:

“Switch will receive crossplay and all major updates to bring it on par with Steam etc – No ETA about that just yet, though – but will let you know.”

Since its debut on the Switch in 2020, Hypercharge: Unboxed has been continuously updated with new features, maps, and game modes. If you want to learn more about this first-person shooter, be sure to check out our review on Nintendo Life.
