How to tune the Echo in the Echoes interface in Wuthering Waves

How to Enhance Your Echoes in Wuthering Waves

To excel in Wuthering Waves, understanding the Echo system and how to add new substats to your Echoes is essential for your progression. While one of the Echo tutorial quests prompts you to tune an Echo in the Echoes interface, the game does not explicitly direct you to the required menu.

Tuning Your Echoes

To tune an Echo in Wuthering Waves, you must access the Echo interface. Navigate to the Resonator menu and select any character. From there, click on the Echo tab to manage the equipped Echoes.

Choose an Echo and initiate the tuning process by selecting the icon with three lines and an arrow located on the left side of the screen. As you tune an Echo, new substats are unlocked, but remember that the Echo must be leveled up first. Every five levels achieved will unlock a new tuning slot, especially beneficial for higher rarity Echoes with higher level caps.

Upgrade materials are crucial for tuning, so it is advisable to focus on enhancing your best Echoes to avoid resource depletion. For the completion of the Silver-Haired Echo Trainer quest, tuning a single Echo once is adequate. Simply elevate any Echo to level five and unlock a new substat to progress further.

The process of Echo tuning represents the ultimate endgame grind in Wuthering Waves. To maximize damage output from your team of Resonators, securing the best substats for your Echoes is imperative. Therefore, accumulating Sealed Tubes and other Echo upgrade materials is vital for tackling challenging endgame content like the Tower of Adversity.
