Sony Unveils Free Games Lineup for PlayStation Plus Subscribers in June
Sony has announced the exciting lineup of free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers in June, catering to fans of nostalgic action, pro wrestling, and everyone’s favorite sponge who lives in a pineapple under the sea. Starting June 4, subscribers can look forward to adding SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake, AEW: Fight Forever, and Streets of Rage 4 to their collection.
SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake is a delightful game featuring the beloved fry cook. With its recent digital upgrade, this 2003 classic offers a blend of classic SpongeBob humor, engaging platforming, and vibrant visuals for an enjoyable adventure in Bikini Bottom.
AEW: Fight Forever, a wrestling game inspired by a popular WWE rival, captures the essence of classic titles like WWF No Mercy. Boasting a diverse roster of performers and an accessible fighting system, this game offers an alternative to the traditional WWE series.
Streets of Rage 4 is a nostalgic throwback to the beloved Sega series, elevated by stunning hand-drawn visuals and new modes that challenge players’ fighting skills. With numerous enhancements added last year, Streets of Rage 4 has solidified its position as one of the best modern beat-’em-ups.
PlayStation Plus subscribers still have time to claim this month’s free games, including Destiny 2: Lightfall, Ghostrunner 2, and Tunic available until June 3, and EA Sports FC 24 until June 17.
In celebration of Days of Play, Sony is treating subscribers to bonus titles in the PlayStation Games Catalog a few days early. Players can explore a variety of PSVR 2 and Classics titles like Tomb Raider: Legend and Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord throughout June.
