Mortal Kombat 1 Welcomes The Boys’ Homelander as New Fighter
Mortal Kombat 1’s latest guest fighter, Homelander from The Boys, is set to bring his superpowers to the game in a new gameplay trailer. Kombat Pack owners can access him on June 4, while everyone else will have to wait until June 11.
The formidable leader of The Seven, Homelander, enters the Mortal Kombat arena with a ruthless and dominating fighting style. Drawing parallels to Superman’s gameplay in the Injustice series, this less-than-heroic superhero showcases his strength and power in the trailer. Alongside Homelander, the DLC Kameo fighter Ferra, the fierce half of the Ferra & Torr duo from Mortal Kombat X, will also join the game in June.
Homelander joins a roster of Year 1 DLC characters, which includes Peacemaker, Omni-Man from Invincible, Ermac, Quan-Chi, and the upcoming Takeda. Additionally, Mortal Kombat 1 is gearing up for a story expansion, though details on its content and release date are still under wraps.
